Awwwards I can say one-word "inspiration". When you land on the homepage, you can see the top designs of the day. The curation that goes into Awwwards is simply awesome, and you will always find new inspiration when you visit. as well as they post interviews and resources that you can use to boost your career. Additionally, their Sites of the Day feature should keep you coming back day after day just to see the amazing work other people put out. And yes This is personally one of my favourite blogs to visit daily basis.

The UX Collective is a more structured and digestible curating some of that content and giving it back to the community. A big part of what we learned in UX comes from online reading: articles, tutorials, resources, blogs. It’s all available out there — but there's a lot. The logo polar bear is a reference to "Information Architecture for the Web and Beyond", one of the most famous books in UX.

Smashing Magazine not often that you find a publication that can put out as many high-quality articles as consistently as Smashing can. Some places publish lots of articles that have very little substance, but Smashing Magazine makes sure that pretty much every word they publish is relevant to you as a designer and developer. They also do various freebies and host conferences, as well as put out books on topics across our field, too.

Not only has Airbnb revolutionized the hospitality industry, but they’re also doing the same thing to web design. Having written (literally) the book on web design with React and JavaScript, they went one step further and publish their web design blog at airbnb.design. They might cover visual guidelines for you to follow, making sure your design hits the right feel for its audience’s location, or maybe they are writing about values-driven design.

Designmodo is known for its outstanding freebies and awesome premium offerings. On top of those, the tutorials and resources make it a great place to stop if you need a quick refresher on a particular topic or a reference to show a client how your idea would work in practice (and the theory behind it).

To be a great designer, you have to be reflective. You need to be able to look at your work and find the good in it, but you also need to find the bad. The Design Reviver is a blog where you can find inspiration not only in the typical showcase of other people’s ideas but in the meaningful understanding of how you fit into your career path. They publish reviews and offer up tools so that you can approach your work with the respect it deserves.
